Anybus Wireless Bolt IoT
The Anybus Wireless Bolt IoT gives devices, machines and equipment an Internet connection. This solution uses the latest LTE standards NB-IoT and CAT-M1 and fits both stationary and mobile equipment. These new LTE standards are so called LP-WAN technologies (Low Power Wide Area Network) adapted for the new IoT use cases. This means Low Power consumption, Low Bandwidth (25-300 kbit/s), Good geographical coverage and Lower Cost.
The innovative hardware form-factor with its M50 throughhole mount enables effective access to good cellular connectivity, without losing coverage due to long and lossy antenna cable. The Bolt IoT is up-to-date with the latest 4G LTE standards NB-IoT and CAT-M1 and, to be globally effective, it uses 2G (GPRS/EDGE) fallback enabling deployment almost anywhere in the world.

Anybus Wireless Bolt enables you to connect industrial machines and devices to a wireless network. It is attached onto a cabinet or a machine to enable wireless access over Bluetooth®, Bluetooth Low Energy® or Wireless LAN (WiFi).
On the wired side, the Anybus Wireless Bolt communicates over Industrial Ethernet, supporting protocols such as BACnet/IP, PROFINET, EtherNet/IP, Modbus TCP as well as all TCP and UDP based protocols.

Anybus Wireless Bolt Serial
Anybus Wireless Bolt Serial enables you to connect industrial machines and devices to a wireless network. It is attached onto a cabinet or a machine to enable wireless access over Bluetooth®, or WiFi (Wireless LAN). It converts serial RS232/RS485 data to TCP/IP communication over the wireless link. It also works as a router for Modbus-TCP to Modbus-RTU enabling transparent access to all your existing serial Modbus devices.
With Anybus Wireless Bolt you get an All-in-one package featuring, connector, communication processor and integrated antenna in the same unit, with an industrial IP66/IP67 protection class.

Cable Replacement
Point-to-point: Serial to Bolt to WLAN/BT to Bolt to Serial.
Common bus
Multi-point; Serial to Bolt to WLAN/BT to many Bolt to Serial Up to 8 participants (1 master and 7 slaves). Wireless multi-drop (master–slave). The Bolt is transparent. Message from host to Bolt is forwarded to all slaves. Every slave response forwarded to the host. Suitable for master/slave polled protocols with RS485, e.g. Modbus RTU.
